WELL, WHAT, WE SHALL START?!
The first problem which rises before
you is diameter of a sphere under which you, (give
better we) we shall do(make) a billiard table.
Diameter
of a sphere most widespread on today in Russian billiards of 68 mm.
From him(it) we also shall "dance". (if you already have
a complete set of spheres, for example, 70 mm., not a trouble, further
at assembly of a table we shall make the amendment on you!).
Before to result all drawings and
so forth let to offer you some variants of
manufacturing of a table.
1.
If you have opportunity, time and desire, you can,
using the drawings resulted below and figures,
completely to make a table the hands! (under an opportunity,
I mean presence of a premise(room) and the necessary equipment
of machine tools, adaptations and so forth)
2.
If you do not have such opportunities, anything terrible,
choose the second variant, namely: we Give all drawings
resulted below, to the nearest to you столярку, we
pay some sum of money (depends on a tree which
you will choose, from your skill to bargain and from ambitions
of the joiner by which all this to you will do(make)). At normal

Further at you appears two more variants:
1.
To collect "designer" from those details which were

A tree – basically a pine, on подстолье
and a larch, an oak and so forth strong breeds, for manufacturing
boards. As a last resort, boards can be made too
of a pine, but it is not so desirable. The larch is more preferable,
she(it) is firmer and heavier. (As it is possible to use the Beech,
the Hornbeam, the Black nut and so forth grades of strong breeds.)
Naturally the tree should be
dried well up! All "designer" will leave approximately in 0.25-0.3

The first:
It is possible to buy in the same shop where also billiard pockets. Rubber
for Russian billiards and the American Poole, has
the different form! I shall result distinctions below. (To buy in
shop rather dearly!)
The second:
If in your area there is a factory резинотехнических products,
probably, to you has carried! At a factory, as a rule, there
is a shop. They in assortment have product under the
name « a billiard cord », i.e. onboard rubber. Quality
is certainly worse, than at firm, but, but the price sometimes,
in some times is less than that in shop.
The third:
In normal billiard rooms repair
of tables is periodically done(made). Thus rubber frequently varies. This rubber
will approach us provided that she(it) is removed(taken off) from a
table of the greater size, than ours. Rubber usually change
that she(it) wears out in a mouth of billiard pockets. But if boards
at our table are shorter, she(it) quite will approach us.
We shall simply cut off her(it) in the size of our table, and at us
she(it) again begins, as new.
This variant one of the best! Most
likely (if it is a decent billiard room), rubber will
be very much high quality (буржуи in it have succeeded),
besides, as a rule, under rather modest price (if
can convince a marker, that, buying at him(it) Second-hand rubber,
you do(make) to it(him) the favor!)
The fourth:
the Marker - will offer you new rubber – dearly!

Cloth. Good billiard cloth costs(stands) dearly
and is appreciated by those players who are a good judge of it(him).
If you the beginning(starting) player I do not advise you at
once to stack expensive(dear) cloth on a table. For the beginning it
is possible to pick up usual green costume
cloth in shop " Fabric ". At intensive operation of a table it will
serve not for a long time, on the average about one half-year. When time

realized choice.
It is a little theory.
Game field, this that place on a
billiard table where spheres go for a drive during game. The length and width
of a game field are measured from edge(territory) of onboard rubber of
opposite boards. The basis of a game field, a billiard table of
any size, has parities(ratio) of two identical squares.

In other words the width of a game field
of a billiard table always is equal to half of his(its) length.
I knowingly so frequently use concept
– a game field. Probably some from you who reads
these lines, once already tried to make even
a small billiard little table?
Also I can argue at least half
from those who tried to make it(him), got in "непонятку",
namely:
Knowing, that the billiard table, is two squares
which were much(many) (including I, in a youth) not reflecting,
began that cut a table-top under the
future billiards. Naturally cut her(it) at the rate of two
squares! The incident was found out after fastening boards.
On the external sizes, all was correct, and a
game field, " for some reason ", ceased to be entered in it “ gold
section ”?! There two squares it was not found out.
They were more true there, but in a variant as in figure 2.

measure it is necessary seven times and only, then to cut off!
I have made this lyrical
digression only that you when will assort my
drawings, have not thought, that in the specified sizes there
is a typing error.
The naked table-top (without boards) has
no two squares! Squares appear only after навески

I offer the most widespread size
which in the list of professional tables
“ the Small table ” refers to.
The sizes of a game field:
1450 х2900 mm. (ahead

sizes in millimeters)
Besides a small table are:
Average
table: 1600 х 3200 mm.
The big table: 1750 х 3500
mm.
Full table:
1820 х 3650 mm.
After we shall make a small table,

work can make and tables of the big sizes.

As our table though refers
to "Small", has rather impressive sizes, we
should establish it(him) on 6 legs.
By the way, the minimal sizes of a premise(room)
for our table, allowing at game to
feel like comfortably: 5 on 6.5 meters.
And so, LEGS:
I can offer two variants on a choice:
1.
Rectangular.
2.
Round.

Пята (rice 4), is made of metal
(steel, a brass, bronze, gold – on your taste and opportunities)
and serves, simultaneously and the reliable base to
a table and the original bearing allowing easily
to turn an adjusting bolt in an
installation time of a table. In its(her) center, насверливается the small deepening,
and the head of a bolt grinds off on a cone. The
adjusting bolt twists in a nut welded on a
square flange. The flange fastens to four саморезами to the
bottom end face of a leg.
The flange (fig. 5) is made, from
sheet steel, thickness about 5 mm.

To make a leg as in figure 6,
it is necessary:
To take a bar section 40*40 of mm and in
the length 600 mm, glue ПВА for a tree both 4 рейки section
40*80* and in the length 450 mm. The bar, внакладку, is pasted over to
four рейками (to look fig. 7, the top view). After drying
glue, preparation, on the special machine tool, grinds
off from each of four parties(sides), on a cone to a bottom. Section
of the bottom part of a leg: 80*80 mm. At desire it is possible, on
a cone, a leg to not grind off, but then it(she) will have less
graceful kind.

made of valuable breeds of a tree) serve for the several purposes:

appearance.

TERMS OF MANUFACTURING OF THE BILLIARD TABLE
The experience got for years which
I have devoted to work on manufacturing billiard tables,
allows to do(make) qualitative billiard tables for
rather short time interval. For example, last
table with the size of a game field 1450 х 2900
mm has been collected by me, without the assistant, " from
zero " for FIVE days (on a secret: has
sold it(him) for 1500 $,
at the cost price 300 $)

autumn of 2000) the question is time when I still closely was engaged in
this business,
I in detail share this experience in the
book.
Sometimes to me ask questions concerning
terms of manufacturing of a table: whether not too safely
I declare - week term.
Present. You on hands have
drawings, both all table, and each detail separately.
On normal раскладу, it is a maximum one day of
work for any joiner's workshop.
Taking into account "swing", I bring
3 days on this business. For this time I get all necessary
accessories and other small things. Thus, in
three days when I bring details from столярки, I
have everything, that is necessary.
Really for other 4 days you will
not collect all this how I name it(him), " the
Designer - Лего " - in a single whole? Only
one day leaves this time for paint and varnish works.
Simple example:
You bought, a furniture wall, or new
kitchen(cuisine)? Details it happens not less but if you know,
that to what to fasten, all work on assembly borrows(occupies)
a maximum of midday!
With a billiard table almost the same.
In a step-by-step management(manual) of assembly all is painted very
in detail, up to trifles. So problems it does not happen practically
at anybody.
WHETHER DIFFICULTLY TO MAKE THE
MOST BILLIARD TABLE?
Once it seemed to me that to make the
most billiard table as it is unreal how to make in
domestic conditions a spacecraft.
But somehow the destiny has reduced me with one
old marker which was engaged in manufacturing of
billiard tables under the order. It(he) has learned much me and on much
has opened eyes.
Periodically helping it(him), I have understood, how
frequently we do(make) a problem there where she(it) is not present!
THAT IS NECESSARY FOR CREATION OF THE BILLIARD TABLE
For today I with
confidence can tell, that to make a
billiard table, only four things are necessary:
1.
Desire.
2. An empty seat for
installation of a table in the size 5 х 6.5 meters (a minimum 4.5
х 6 m in the event that to neglect full comfort.
Ideal, it is considered distance from edge(territory) of a game field
up to a wall 1.75 м).
3. Approximately 200-300 $.
4. Well, and it is natural,
it is necessary to know how to make a billiard table.
YOU CAN MAKE THE BILLIARD TABLE FOR
YOURSELVES
You reflected on that, how many money
you spend in a billiard room?
Hour of game on a good table in a decent billiard room costs(stands)
on the average about(near) 10 $.
Playing a pair of hours per day, you already spend 7300 $
in one year!
But it as you know, a minimum, for maintenance of
the game form. And if you thus, play about game on
money?...
And how many time you collided(faced) with a
situation when come in a billiard room with huge desire to play,
and find out, what all tables are borrowed(occupied)? You should
wait, and sometimes rather for a long time.
And at you frequently it turned out to not play,
and to be trained in a public billiard room then
when it is necessary for you?

trainings without the partner, in quiet
conditions when you need to fulfil technics(technical equipment) of

on couple of months from that billiard room where you know as

at home. In couple of months appear again.
If thus, you appear with a
kind of type: " Very long ago I did not take in hands of checkers(blocks)!... ",
many former your partners which played more
strongly you, with pleasure will offer you a party(set) in hope to
earn additionally on you once again. In fact any player knows, I think,
and for you it not a secret: it is necessary to pass(miss) some
days - and the level of game at once leaves much to be desired.
It as in music. If the
professional pianist (or the violinist) will
daily not carry out(will daily not spend) behind the tool for 8-10 hours soon
it(he) should
leave concert activity. By the way, you met
the good musician who would not have a house of
the own tool?
I, for example, no!
I know on myself as it
is quickly possible to lift a level of game, having an opportunity to
train on own billiard table, at any time.
Own billiard table is an opportunity to
play and train as much as necessary, incessantly raising
the professional level!
Probably, you presume to buy to
yourselves a billiard table in shop. But you understand how
difficultly to find really good table. Of them it
is full in shops, but a great bulk - usual consumer goods.
Who is more senior, probably, remembers, how

were very similar on a violin of work of the Stradivari (practically
the same form, the same size), and all was wonderful,

for years which I have devoted to work on manufacturing
billiard tables, allows to do(make) qualitative,
professional tables for maximum short time
interval - for 5-7 days. The cost price of
manufacturing of a billiard table - 250-300 $.
Let's count profit (on a minimum; in a
reality your profit can appear and more).
We admit(allow), you sell the table for 1000 $
(it agree, it(he) costs(stands) more dearly(expensively)! But at us in fact a minimum!).
1000 $
- 300 $ (the cost price of a table) = 700 $
- in a week!
700 х 4 = 2800 $
- in a month!
Once for a long time one my partner has
stated such idea:
" You want to know the real income of planned
business? Divide the sum of the prospective income half-and-half!
It will be exact yours! " (Frequently then in a life I
recollected his(its) words!)
We shall follow also to his(its) advice(council):
2800 $: 2 = 1400 $
in a month of net profit!
Quite good minimum for the beginning, especially,
in view of that, insignificant, initial sum?!

I have finished a billiard table.
Something has turned out, something is not present, but as a whole,
the result can be seen in photos.
My expenses have made 12000 roubles, the
only thing that, chippers, grids, decorative furnish
of billiard pockets, I have made itself. And, being guided,
the aesthetic preferences, I have
made rectangular legs (in a basis a bar 12*12)
and other decorative furnish.

FROM THE AUTHOR
Me frequently ask,
whether I do(make), billiard tables?
To not leave doubts, I have decided to show,
AS I do(make) them.
 I
not already mentioned time, that after crossing(moving) to
Krasnodar to 2000 have stopped to be engaged in
manufacturing of billiard tables. But in October,
2006 during conversation with one of the relatives
I have expressed a regret, that in due time, doing(making)
tables, I have not guessed to photograph process on video
as then, did not think at
all that I shall be once engaged in this theme in
the Internet. Then, my relative, has
suggested me to correct this omission and to make a
table for him(it), and on process of manufacture, to shoot a film.
As
conditions, for manufacturing a billiard table
at me, now are not present, we have
leased garage, intending to use it(him)
as a time haven for assembly
of a table.
But there was a unforeseen circumstance.
When all was already ready, and it
was necessary to begin only assembly, in garage have disconnected the electric
power,
because of a pitiable condition of old electroposting.
At us in region, from the middle of October,
weather usually spoils and rains begin, time
drew in. To me remained nothing how to
transport all details from garage, to itself home, under a
canopy and to engage in assembly in conditions which are
rather far from ideal.
However, as
they say - " That the God does(makes) - to the best! ". This
circumstance, once again proves, that
at desire, it is possible to make everything, everything,
and anywhere!:)
All process, manufacturing
of a small table for Russian pyramid, with the
